Getting lean and staying strong?

If you're not on any of the programs I associated with me, but still have questions about your diet in general. Here is where you may find a few answers to those general questions.

Here is another one I was sent:

I’ve got another one for you. If I’m about 200 pounds with 13 percent body fat is it possible to cut down using a good diet or takeing some cutting supplements and still keep most of my weight and also would my strength change any?

It is possible to get lean and keep strength

This is possible to an extent. I strongly suggest the Naturally Massive program for this and yes... I am biased. Here is why though. One of the big reasons behind my methodology has to do with this very issue.

You need to control your body fat drop so that you don't drop blood sugar levels so low that you begin to see your muscle tissue canabolized by a depleted metabolism. The methods I use are aimed at balancing blood sugars so this won't happen. The only difference is that you will want to follow the Primer Phase of the program for longer than the Growth Phase.

Now, you do need to be ready to expect your strength to begin to be effected once you start to drop below 7 or 8 percent bodyfat. Even with balanced blood sugar levels, your lower body fat level will effect your power at a certain point.
