hey again,

im having a hard time eating the salad dressing i make with all the oils n such, just wondering if there is something i can substitute other than using the oils? and also for the cardio in the primer phase would i benefit from biking as much as i would with running?, becuz i heard running reduces muscle.

thanks again, Andrew Robichaud

Hi Andrew,

You don't have to make the dressing exactly as I have written it. The idea is to ensue you get enough daily dietary fat from healthy sources. You may want to ingest this in the form if seeds, nuts, or even alternate salad dressing recipes. You can combine a good omega 3 oil with, basil, garlic and lemon. Just make sure your diet is not void of fat or you won't be getting the nutrients you need for optimal growth, recovery and weight loss.

As for the cardio, you can do any form you like. I am not sure who told you that runningreduces muscle, but it is simply not true in all forms. All cardio will either enhance or reduce muscle (including biking) depending on how you approach it. Whatever cardio you do can serve to build your muscle and reduce fat so long as you keep the cardio short, intense and work at intervals of high speed and low speed. This increases your burn rate without lowering your metabolism. Cardio only reduces muscle when it is done for long periods and at a sustained level of effort, as it reduces your metabolic rate by eliminating excessmuscle to preserve energy over long endurance periods.
